Growing up in Southern Indiana, I regularly pull inspiration from the vibrant colors of our trees and native flowers.
I prefer a very bright, saturated color palette with defined lines reminiscent of stained glass leading.
Blue Lake in Fall is meant to welcome the viewer into a vibrant world of hues and shapes, encouraging the eye to move freely.
Some colors may seem “out of place” and that’s by design. Our eyes fixate on things that stand out from what we expect.
Pink or purple pine trees and blue or purple leaf blobs keep the brain engaged and exploring.
